I definitely like the magnification. That is another reason I bought it. Also, I got the BAC model so I can use it no matter what the light level is.

The ACOG is a good sight. When you use magnification it tends to slow down your rate of fire which in some instances is ...

ACOG

I just ordered an ACOG to take with me on my deployment to A-Stan. I got a really good deal from their Military sales rep. Can anyone who has experience with these give me some input as far as their experiences have gone with them?

My experience in the AZNG Arty was much the same way. FIST was the only reasonably cool gig in the state. After 9-11 we got called up to do gate guard at Luke. I got out because of all the BS (and leg fat bodies). I have since come back in with an Infantry unit, and while it isn't 75th of the 82nd ...

My experience with the guard: I decided to do the "try one" program after I got out of Regt. I reclassed as a 91W from 11B (I'm trying to get into medical school). After a year of volunteering to cut grass on the weekends, because I could not stand the boredom we were activated to support...

I will not laugh when a Plt. Sgt trips over a log in South Rainer at night, which causes his ruck to flip over his head and pin him to the ground in a rather awkward position!

I have the .40 and I LOVE shooting that thing. I am talking to the HH6 about selling that and get the .45  You actually ask your 6? Interesting. 2 years ago I pulled out every gun I own and was cleaning some, fondling others and she came in and said..."whose are all those"? After l...
