Damn Officers

Post by RGR_Dan »

Is he not just like most of the college Spec-4s that come to the regiment?
Doesn't know his place, still doesn't get it, wants to be called Specialist. And i'm sure when he gets there (O-1 assn to LRS) he's going to have a "better" way of doing things.
BTW dude..... If you haven't been told yet officers are essentially supply ordering bitches for the LRS teams. You'll put out a vague warning order and the teams do the rest. Then you'll sit back in the rear with the gear, in a tent, in a clean uniform eating hot chow while the real joes are in the field making it happen.

National Guard Officer in a LRS unit...... WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?

Ranger Dublo,

#3 I am going to have to agree to disagree with you on that one. I think that you have great officers arise from the NCO ranks as well as from the academies and ROTC/OCS. General Tommy Franks is an excellent example of an enlisted man getting his commission, while Gen Peter Schoomaker, hailed from ROTC. I respect your opinion, but I think it is false.
You, young hero, have chosen the proper path in the Military. You are, without a doubt, officer material. You beleive yourself infallible, you think you know it all even though you haven't done shit, and you're an asshole. Yep, most surely officer material!

On the other hand, young hero, you have chosen the wrong path on this board, and your disrespect will not go unchallenged. And remember, young hero, the Ranger Brotherhood is a worldwide organization, with tentacles that reach every corner of the globe. You have made your journey in the Military a more arduous task than necessary......may you live in interesting times!

This is the guy who everyone wants to kill while in isolation.. We wants to debate and question each route that you've chosen. Then the TL lets him be Point (senior scout) and after moving for an hour in the dark, you realize he never moved his bezel ring to line up with the arrow and you've been walking in circles. The rucksack flops cause he's smoked

I know that you are not calling me dumb you piece of fucking shit. Who in the fuck do you think you are? .....I'll tell you who you are, a fucking nobody that thinks he has the shit to someday lead a LRS Detachment???

Bull fucking shit. You want to push the officer issue....well, I will push right back on that one, but first. You don't know a god-damned thing about a god-damned thing. You haven't spent day one in the military...yet, you have the audacity to question my opinion? Go fuck yourself. Son, you haven't even broken in a pair of boots yet, and you think you can digress with me.....I......do....not....fucking.....think so.

You are actually a prime example of an officer. You haven't done a fucking thing....as most officers haven't. But, you think that a little college places you in a position to TRY and lead men....and you have an opinion to boot. As someone with more than enough college to be an officer....I will not do it...in an infantry setting. Why???? Because officers don't actually accomplish a fucking thing. Sure, they do a lot of paperwork...and they get called sir, but what the fuck does all of that really matter? NCO's train and create soldiers. They don't sit in a fucking office and write up memoranDUMS. They wake the boys in the morning....make sure they have their shit straight when they are in the PT formation.....they lead PT. Then....they get the boys back for breakfast....make sure that ......fuck that...I am not going to tell you. They are in the trenches day in and day out with the boys, if the boys accomplish their mission successfully, or fail to accomplish their mission...it is because of the NCOs. Do you know what we call officers in the 75th Ranger Regiment?

Summer Help. Shit runs great before they get there....then they are only there for about a year and a half...then they are gone...and shit still works the same as it did before they got there.

As someone already told you....if you are an officer in a LRS detachment, you don't do a fucking thing with the boys. Officers don't go on the missions. There are teams.....and there isn't an officer slot on any of them. How do I know????? Because I was on a fucking LRS team bitch-lips.

You know what officers are really good for????

Signing hand-receipts and taking control of all the equipment for his assigned unit. But, you don't even know what the fuck a hand-receipt is do you?

You need to stop reading Gary Linderer before you get somebody hurt.

I'll tell you what....I am going to give you some advice before you try this little thing.

You don't know a fucking thing....and you won't until you are at least a Captain....and that is for the Regular Army. National Guard arena....you won't ever know anything. So, you need to leave all of your OPINIONS to yourself.

Honestly, can you tell me what you actually think you can contribute to a LRS team? Biology 101? Some good road-marching secrets? Some been there done that advice? Fuck no.....

Shut the fuck up.....and don't ever question another BTDT on this board. Play like a nice little DEPper....and shut the fuck up. I actually like DEPs more than I like fuck-tards like yourself.

You want to make a difference in the Armed Forces? Sign the fucking papers to become a soldier....an enlisted one.....the only ones that will ever know what true suffering is.....and how to ease that pain. Then, and only then.....will you have anything to contribute. Fucking dumbass.

No need to reply here.....because it will only cause a thrashing.

Stop making the rest of us who would aspire one day to become officers look bad. How can you impart any knowledge or give an opinion, when: 1) you don't have any knowledge 2) your opinion doesn't matter 3) somewhere along the line, you're gonna fail and quit anyway.
You don't seem the type to go the extra mile. You just want to have that butter bar on your lapel and go around the ranks saying:"Alright, men. Today we are bla bla bla"
Understand why you've been getting spanked around.
Stop posting, start reading, begin learning!

Spearmint, you are going to make a great officer.

Hey Vaginashadow....this man has already been there and done that....and he is the shit fine officers are made of.

But wouldn't he at least get to lead the men in PT, you know, if he had the balls and self-discipline to make it?

Glad the LRS officer thing was brought up......I've seen squared away LT.'s in LRS, and unfortunately a lot of know it all dumbasses.

Squared away ones go to the field occasionally with a team, and REALIZE that they are dead weight and there to learn. A sqaured away Lt. will tell you that for this mission he is considered low man on the totem pole, lower then the privates next to him humping a radio. He shuts his mouth and LISTENS AND LEARNS.

The knowitalls are given every oppurtunity to embarrass themselves, and like Ranger Dan said, it doesn't take long.
