I think some Rangers make it thru RIP with a bold cockiness, while others make it thru RIP with a quiet, determined resolve.
Its hard to determine what any one person will do when faced with the wall that is RIP. Some will
crumble under the pressure while others will rise up and give a 'gold medal' performance when challenged and faced with near unsurmountable odds.
When does a Ranger know he will pass RIP? It is different for each young man, I think.
For me, I knew if I could pass 'Day One', I could pass the next day, and the next day, and the next, and the next, untill I was done. It was all about day one for me, I knew if I could survive the RIP 'sledgehammer' for one day, it was just a matter of time till I won.
When do you, as a Mom stop ''wondering and worrying about whether they will make it through?''
Graduation morning is a safe bet! :D
