No where in my post did I say anything about you not being able to interact with Rangers because you have not been to MEPS.

I also never gave you shit. The only thing I gave you was advice on using the search button and 2 links for you to find your answer.

If you would just take a second to search for your answer you could get it.

Fuck you, you don't give advice.
He'll do whatever makes you listen, asshole.
And you fucking will take shit from the DEPs because we like it that way.

Shut the fuck up.

Here is an idea, why don't you shut the fuck up. All of you. Just because you either served in the 75th, went to Ranger school, RIP, or are on the way, does not qualify you to be the end all of dickheads and assholes.

I tried to play by the rules. I posted an intro and kept quiet, but the fact that I make a simple response in a thread and get bitched at by some ass kissing wannabe tells me that this website serves as a site for people to suck Ranger dick rather than a site to interact or get real information.

I'm still going to get that option 40, still going to pass RIP, and still going to be a solid Ranger just to prove that you don't have to be a pissant, asskiss, or a Jarhead to be a Ranger. As you no doubt have guessed, I am aware I will get banned with this post, however I'll see you at RIP or Ft. Benning and we can even the score there if you like. Until then, fuck off and get a clue.

Actually the intent here is to give you a clue.
There is no score to even...are you that stupid?
You don't seriously think you're intimidating anyone do you?
Fuck off then, learn the ropes somewhere else.

Well, there may be no score, but there is that giant chip on your shoulder.

I'm not trying to intimidate anyone at all, just prove that there is more to the game than being a wannabe asskiss. I just don't play that way.

I'm tired of your pms and your opinion.
None of us have a chip on our shoulder where you're concerned.
There's an easy fix here.
Go away.
The other newbies and DEPs have taken the same shit that you have.
You just can't take it.
Now then, go and have your recruiter explain what you can expect.
I'm sure it will be accurate

Loki,

I'll try and be brief so as not to confuse you.

I am not a Ranger. I am a guest here along with every other non-Ranger swinging dick. I've spent alot of time reading posts here, and communicating with my Brothers-in-Arms.

This board is STRAC, if you don't know what that means or how that applies, look it up. I've watched dickheads show up, run their hole, and shortly thereafter disappear into so many 1's and 0's that make up our virtual world. If you pull your head out of your 4th point of contact long enough, and STFU, you might learn something.

I've gleaned that life as a cherry private in the Ranger Regiment is hard. Harder than you can imagine. Discipline isn't just a word there, its a way of life. If you can't handle some virtual bitching out online, are you going to run your fucking cum dumpster or blow up at a tabbed SP4 or an NCO?

You need to be prepared, and with that attitude, you may grunt you way through life in the Army, but its going to be hard. Like kicked in the teeth with your ballsack nailed to a fence-post hard.

Thanks for the response FireFinder.
Edit: The best advice I've received in regards to this situation, boot camp, and sf in general is to just remember that it is a game; a game that you cannot win. I realize that now, I've had my outburst, I retract what I can, and I'll take my lashings. Now that you know a bit more about me, you can take this where you wish.

You told me in numreous pms that you would not edit your comments.
You were quite cocky about it too.

Ranger Kilted Heathen, I did say that one time although it was more in relation to other comments you are aware of. Anyway, as I said I'll take my lumps or concussions now. You've got my attention.

No shit?
If you're serious about that comment then I'll take it seriously.
You have skated by on the skin of your ass here.
Do not post for one week.
Read the forums here, all of them, and start becoming knowledgeable on your new ambition.
Everyone deserves a second chance...in your world.
In the world you aspire to enter, you get no second chances.
Simple as that.
You need a fuckin' mentor worse than anyone we've seen in a long time, Loki.
Read, read, read and then ask your questions.
If a DEP gives you guidance you will...shut the fuck up and take the appropriate action.
Welcome to zero week.

My name is Nathan, I am a 26 year old college grad (3/05) with a beautiful wife and 2 kids (boy/girl). I'm currently scheduled to go to MEPS on 3/11 where I will do the whole thing and if qual. select my MOS, which I plan on being an option 40.

I'm here to read and get some real info to help me make the best and most informed decision. I'll try not to be a pain in the ass.
Hey Loki Remember this?

Know that you don't know jack shit about the Army or the Rangers. Why? Because you're a fuckin Cilivian, that's why!!! You go to Basic, AIT, Jump School, RIP (and if you've got what it takes) A Ranger Battalion in that order for a REASON. Its a fuckin PROCESS that is designed to transform your mental and physical being into that of a Warrior.

Pull your head outta your ass and remember that college, a beautiful wife, 2 children will not prepare you for what's ahead. However your life experiences will, you are about to embark on the most challenging goal you will probably ever undertake in your entire life.

SHOW SOME BASIC COMMON SENSE AND REALIZE THAT YOU JUST MIGHT NEED TO "LISTEN" INSTEAD OF OFFERING YOUR OPINION.

I will tell you one thing, you dont want to draw this kind of attention to yourself in Basic, Jump school, RIP, or Battalion for that matter. Keep a low profile, your mouth shut, and worry about your PT scores, as this seems to be the disqualifying factor these days. Loud mouth cocky fucks never make it all the way. Forget all the tough guy play ground shit, real Rangers don't give a fuck. It's a long trip to Bn, and once there its hard to stay. Drop the chip off your shoulder or else some Ranger in RIP will have a a ball of laughs with you. There are active duty Rangers here who are RIP instructors, and they sure as hell wont forget you!!! You don't want to make thier job any more fun then it already is.
