Congrats, I hope I don't have to go through that at the end of this week when I go up to MEPS. But I will come home empty handed if that is what it takes.

Did you read this board before ya went to the recruiter?

Because that's exactly what I've (we've) been telling these kids for the past couple of years.

There's a few things you need to have straight. Good scores, good physical condition, no waivers. Be determined, be nice, be courteous. Don't, I repeat, don't sign anything until it says what you want. If you can't get it, get up and walk out. Keep checking back. You will get it eventually.

You did great. Exactly how it's supposed to be done. Congratulations. Now I'm expecting great things outta you. Deliver.

A few days ago means you've read, or had time to read the FAQ's.

Don't ever call me "Sir" again. Beat yer face for 2 minutes then go find out what you can call me.

Do you slugs want to be Rangers or not?

That is exactly the way to get it. That is exactly the way I got it 13 years ago. You just don't accept anything else. They threw everything else at me and I just sat there and said I won't sign anything but a Ranger contract. Finally they pulled it out. Either you want to be a Ranger or not.

Your whole Army experience will be about people trying to stop you from being a Ranger, you have to want it and except nothing less. It is no different than RIP, you either want it or you don't. If you quit at MEPS you wouldn't have made it anyway.

DEPs,
Keep doing your own thing. We Rangers trust and respect people who don't follow orders.

Ranger Bell, do waivers severely impact your chances for an option 40?

I really have not choice because I have to have a moral waiver (being young and stupid 7 years ago).

Loki,
Stop wasting Ranger Bell's time.

If you would just take a second to search for your answer you could get it.

Hey latch, don't be a fucking slot burner. You better make sure that this is what you want. Don't fuck somebody because you want to sound cool. You definatly don't want to be one of the many that quit RIP before they even finish Airborne.

The only reason I asked is because Ranger Bell brought it up in his earlier post. Are you telling me I cannot interact with Rangers because I have not finished my MEPS visit yet? I know you want to look good here, but a PM would be a better option.

I'll take shit from a Ranger, but not from you.
