This might very well be the best intro of a non-prior service individual I've seen here. Granted I've not been here long. This intro should be made into a sticky so that future soldiers can read and review on how to post and intro.

Re: Introduction
After re-reading my post, I'd like to state that I am 24 in a few months. I do not want to make it seem as though I am putting this off. If you are wondering, the age of 26/27 is where I will feel comfortable giving my life for our country. There's a comfortable age for that? That makes absolutely ...

Re: Propayne7-Introduction
To be honest, it looks challening and something that will keep me interested. Also, I would like to learn about explosives and hopefully it will open a door to a civilian bombsquad job. It is challenging and can open doors for civilian employment. Unfortunately you will not learn a ton about explos...

Re: Anybody seen this yet?
Where is the 'bitch's Ranger Tab'. How is he a senior NCO got a combat scroll but isn't tabbed. Another technical advisor that didn't know his job. Also if you happened to see their publicity stills for the movie, they have the patches all switched around. How come in every movie, the Ranger is the...

No problem, even though I went to NAVSCOLEOD back when it was hard I should be able to provide you with some guidance. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions etc.

Re: Propayne7-Introduction
Thank you for all of the information fusion94, as you stated, the process for getting accepted into EOD was quite easy. Fortunately for me my credit score is good and I already have a Secret security clearance. I am currently waiting on a school date from HRC, unless my unit gets a deployment order...

Re: Propayne7-Introduction
Rangers, but am trying to reclass to 89D EOD. Welcome and thank you for your service. First and foremost the path you are hoping to chose is long and quite challenging. Getting accepted for EOD reclassification is far easier than graduating NAVSCOLEOD. I won't go into all of the details here but one...

Re: Resigning a commission to sever in 75th/SF
Roy Wood was a medical doctor and officer that spent close to 12 years with 11th SFG and 20th SFG ending up as a Battalion Surgeon. In 2002 he resigned his commission to become a 18D with an ODA. Sadly he was KIA in 2004. He's the only one I'm aware of that's taken this route but it has been done be...
