New Introduction

Post by army85 »

Hello Rangers,
I apoloogize for having my head up my ass on the intro posted the wrong way. Not a good way to start, but it will not happen again.
Thank you for the instruction. Let me start again the correct way.
Thank you again for your service to our country, and for allowing me to come to this site.
I am army85, and I was in the army from 1985-1989 in Field Artillery.
Again, I apologize for the wrong posting.
Thank you.

A man has only one opportunity to make a favorable initial impression. One. Please sit down and give us a detailed introduction. This one is weak.

Hello Ranger Cams,
Yes I was in the field when it happened. I believe it wasone of the other companies in my battalion. They shot out and one round hit a motor pool, and the other two rounds actually hit a civilian area. I discharged in October, but I believe the Battalion commander, Battery commander and everyone in that particular gun were busted and kicked out of the army.

Yes it was ashamed, Poor people never knew what hit them.
There was another instance about a month before that where a gun got lost during movement in blackout drive and roamed into another units AO and ran over top of a private sleeping in a sleeping bag.
He was'nt discovered until the next morning, there was not much to discover after a 52,000 pound howitzer ran over him.
