elk photos from home

Post by straightshooter »

Hi there! I just wanted to share what I got to see and enjoy from about 250 yards from the highway right outside of town where I live. The bachelor group was made up of 26 bulls and there wasn't a spike in the herd. Pretty cool I think. This is just one of many reasons why I chose to live here. Enjoy

SS, awesome photo's. They have an Elk Farm there, too!

Yea, OK. Every Elk I EVER saw in the wild was never inclined to lay down for a photo shoot and I was usually looking at the ass end as it ran away.
So, this was Eddie's Elf Farm or Ernies Elk Ranch...right?

Ranger Abell, these must be very intelligent, well-racked elk. They probably checked their calendars and saw that it wasn't hunting season, so they could go casual.

No you can't. That has to be the Flying H ranch and ole' Skeet Johnson doesn't like his precious elk getting killed. He's loaded with them but no hunting for the peons.

 Sorry Trav, You're wrong! These actually traveled onto state ground! If you would keep in touch more often I would have shown you where....but having such a young girlfriend these days must be tapping into all your extra strength lately

My Dear Pastor...That is just Wyoming for you  I could get you up close to other wildlife too like bear and moose etc. And yes it is in the wild not on a refuge

If memory serves correctly, it was you that didn't call to show me that little purple outfit. I still have some strength left.
