Got it

Post by Kobayashi »

I got my 11x/Opt. 40 contract today. I held out for it, and, sure enough, my recruiter pulled some strings and got me what I wanted. Thanks to everybody on this site for their great advice. Where I go from here is up to me now.

Just like Ranger Bell or SFC hit_it said, you go to recruiter, they will give you OPT40 rather than lose you. Oh wonderful Kawasaki!. You now have what you need. When are you leaving?

Good to see you have the patience and maturity to wait for what you really wanted. Now take advantage of the chance you have to serve with the some of the best soldiers in the world. Keep your shit squared away, your mouth shut and never quit. Good luck!!!

Thank you all. My ship date is June 21, 2005. Can't wait . . . although, it will give me more time to get ready.
