Airborne ends 11/8, RASP 11/12?

Hi all, I'm just wondering if anyone knows what might happen for my son's schedule. He is at Airborne right now. End date says 11/8. The next RASP class shows a report date of 11/1 and a start date of 11/12. Can you join the class if you report during that window of time between 11/1 and 11/11, or will he definitely be waiting until the next class which starts after Christmas? I realize there are usually not sure answers in the Army, but I was just curious as to people's opinions on this. Thank you!
