Vote for none of the above!
It is better to be violent, if there is violence in our hearts, than to put on the cloak of nonviolence to cover impotence.

Another well-intended waste of effort.

No shit. I know every single election says that "this is the most important election of your lifetime", but this time I think it is true. This is not "politics as usual" and this is not "it doesn't matter, their both the same". This is the turning point... deciding the soul of our nation for the next generation.Jim wrote:Another well-intended waste of effort.
A huge Federal government, led by a man who believes he can bypass Congress whenever it suits him and believes that the Constitution is flawed, a document of "negative liberties"... or
A lesser government led by a man who believes in the Constitution, and even more important, a Congress made up of Tea Party reps who are pissing off the old Republican establishment.
The fight is not between Democrat and Republican. Those two are similiar, one wants a big government NOW and one wants a big government in a day or two... but what has changed is the Tea Party folks pushing the country club Republicans to the way side. Many of these new challengers are recent vets, and know what sacrifice really is.
This is not a time to cheer on the team like it is a football game and then ignore it for the next four years. This is not a game.
