Introduction

Post by dptymc »

Hello everyone, this is just a quick intro about me. I am a veteran from the US Army, I served from 1986-1994 and I was never a Ranger. I was an MP ( yeah, I know, you cant spell wiMP without MP- I 've heard them all :D ) for my entire time of service. I was assigned to the 300th MP company in Germany from 86-88, then USMA MP Co. from 88-89, the the 401st Mp Co. in Ft. Hood from 89-94. I was part of Task Force Bayonet during Operation Just Cause, and was in Saudi/Kuwait and Iraq for the first Gulf War. I was in a few other short deployments, but nothing big. One of my main reasons for registering here is that I freaking hate posers  . I was looking for a place to out these pogues and found this place. As a law enforcement officer, I run into fakes all the time and now that I found this site, I will be putting their dispicible info here for all to see. I never understand why people dont just be proud of what they did, or just flat out lie about serving. I catch crap from veteran co-workers all the time about having been an MP, but that was the path I chose and have no regrets. It's all good. Anyway, that's why I signed up here- to out posers. I did it to a fake SEAL a couple of years back and won't hesitate to do it to a fake Ranger or SF person. Thanks for giving me a place to do that. Take it easy everyone, and stay safe.

Welcome to ArmyRanger.com and thanks for your service to our great country! In Lai Khe, VN the Ranger company area was just across the street from the MP's company area. Made for some interesting times.

I appreciate the hospitality. I am hoping to get info on a poser that I had to deal with the other day, as soon as I ID him, he will be put on the poser board.

The way I became a Ranger and have earned the small amount of success I have had in life has been mostly due to one quality - determination. Lefty.
