waiver

Post by cbarto20 »

i had been down to the meps about 5 times and was all ready to sign up for my ranger contract. I was then informed that because i had a waiver for my shoulder that they could not give me airborne and therefore could not give me the ranger contract. My recruiter had no idea of this and then the people at meps tried to bullshit me into signing up for something that i did not want to do. My brother was in the 82nd and a close friend in Regimental recon and they both said not to sign anything unless you get the ranger contract. If someone could tell me if there is anything that i could do, even with my waiver, to get a ranger contract i would greatly appreciate it.

If they don't give you what you want don't join. Tell them that you want Airborne at least. From there you can volunteer for RIP.
