Introduction - Helios

Post by Helios »

Afternoon, gentlemen.

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Eoin and from the looks of things I just might end up being your resident Air Force Operator on these boards. I graduated from Georgetown University in 2007 with an undergrad in International Affairs and a focus on the Balkans/ Central Europe. Two weeks after graduation I enlisted in the Air Force and began Pararescue Indoctrination Course the following fall, eventually graduating first in my class of 5 remaining men after a 93% drop out. I am currently stationed with the 24th Special Tactics Squadron operating out of Pope AFB, North Carolina.

I’m a rather soft spoken kind of guy, raised as a ‘Southern Gentlemen’ if you will, so don’t expect much from me. But in any event, I do look forward to joining a community of men and women who have answered the call of a higher power than themselves. Though I am clearly not a Ranger nor do I intend on joining the proud creed of warriors, I have operated along side of many Rangers and have come to call a rare few personal friends. If there was a place that I would feel at home to come and banter I can think of none better than that of one run and maintained by US Army Rangers. I look forward to the Air Force jokes soon to ensue as well as CASVACing your asses all the same. And if you can’t tell by now, I like a little bagging every now and again; it keeps you humble.
