How young is your son? I suspect mine might be the youngest in 1st. He turned 19 in Sept.
One of my fb friends was at the 3rd's ball. I'll ask her if she got pics of that particular moment.

I wish I would have known that was your boy!! The HH6 and I were there. AWESOME time!!! My wife has some pictures on FB. I'll see what I can do to transfer them to here. Only got about 11 pics.

The punch bowl ceremony celebrates each generation of Ranger. They give a quick description of each generation, then add an ingredient. I can't remember what the salt was for, but your Ranger did a good job.
