former 1/75 Intro

Post by rvAco175 »

Hello,
Former Aco 3rd Plt 1/75 Rgr. Enlisted in June of 2001 and arrived to Battalion 6 March 2002. That date may seem familiar to those that know (4 Mar 02), and I will say those first few months were difficult, especially when the boys first came back across the pond from OEF I. I took longer than most to get to school. I did however, graduate from Rgr School class 09 03. I ETS'd from the Army 19 Sept 2007. My entire time in the Army was spent in 1/75.
Currently I am enrolled full time in college and hope to graduate in December and move on to Law school at GMU. I look forward to hopefully meeting up with some old friends and making new ones. I am very curious about one thing as I had to carry F.T. Rock on many occasions in many differenct locations. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Jim,
Yes, I did mean George Mason University. I started there back in 2000 (electrical engineering) after graduating from West Springfield High School; but dropped out and joined the Army. I haven't actually applied to GMU Law yet, but have decided thats where I want to go. I see you are a fellow Northern Virginian. New guy buys right???

Thanks to all for the positive replies and the welcome messages.
