Uhh, Dad

Post by AngryPistols »

Image

This morning my cell rings at work and it's my 15 year old son. "UhhDad, can you come get me, I've been in a wreck..." He was on a 4 wheeler out in the country and ran through a barbed wire fence. When I saw his face, I didn't know whether to beat him or hug him!!!

We are gonna catch hell when his mom sees this

A few of my friends from school were playing Capture the Flag at night one weekend, and four of them ran (on foot. not a fourwheeler) headlong into a 5 foot barbed wire high fence. they were all pretty messed up and one of them had to have some serious reconstructive surgery to get his face back to normal.

Pretty nasty stuff.

I'm glad he's alive and is going to be ok.

But is it "possible" that he was messin with the wrong woman last night and got her a little too worked up. j/k

eeeeeewwww, that sure must hurt. Amost looks like V-Rod the time he tried to hump the bull and he was too close to the barbed wire fence. And the bull was having none of that.

Heal soon, he got off light.

This winter a 16 year old from my town who was snowmobiling through a field hit a strand of barbed wire at full speed and was decapitated.

Thanks for the thoughts. I am extremely grateful that's all that happened as it could have been alot worse. We went to the mall yesterday and people were giving him the most weird looks!!!

His mom wasn't too hard on either of us...

BTW, I have been thanking GRITS for his guiding hand of mercy and strength.
