Introduction

Post by JayThomas »

Hello,

My name is Jay. I'm not a ranger or even in the military, but I'm interested in becoming a soldier of some kind and possibly a ranger. I'm here to find out as much about the rangers as I can before making any kind of life changing decision to attempt to become one. I have a GED and that is my highest level of education. I got an 81 of the ASVAB.

I'm especially interested in ranger PT and how to get into the kind of shape necessary in order to get through ranger training. I'm also wide open to as much advice as I can get from the community on here.

Anyways that a little bit of who I am.

Thanks for serving rangers.

Welcome and thanks for your interest in Army Rangers. You are wise for taking time to find out if soldiering and being a Ranger is right for you. With a GED, you will be required to have a certain number of college level course credit hours under your belt to enlist with a Ranger contract. There are a number of posts in the introductions and recruitment forums on this site that address this issue.
