11x contract and OP40's

Under the Board FAQ's, an article is written by DLP21. Under DEP & Basic/OSUT, he says when you get an 11x 80-85% go 11b and the other 11c. I really want 11b, so can I ask them for this? Or do I even have to sign up under 11x? And say I get stuck with 11c, can I have it changed?

everyone enlist as an 11X. they have some infinite method for selecting charlies.

it's called the "hey you" method.

not sure if you can change when picked though.

I just got out of the goarmy.com chat room and all the recruiters said when I enlist under 11x I will definetly be 11b. I don't know who to believe, especially since I know none of them have served time as Rangers or Even made it to RIP. Also Mr. Stover said anyone who calls The "Ranger Enlistment Option" an OP40 is a boob. Just letting you know.
I'm on your all's side though.

Ranger Spartan, I do not want my name changed back to Don Job, whatever the Rangers give me here is fine by me. I meant redeem myself for being a dumbass. ex. pushups, assignments, etc. Anything any of the Rangers can come up with.

I just got through basic a little bit ago and in my company of four platoons (around 50 guys in each) they just randomly selected like 25 guys ALL IN FOURTH PLATOON to be 11C.... it was kind of wierd how they picked it but I'm not complaining

ohh yea, RIP HOLDOVER kicks ass.... haha :?
