Airsofters
Moderator: Site Admin
I don't care what some airsofter does with his or her time as long as they don't start making false claims of actual service. If someone wants to be an Airborne Ranger they should muster up the sack and sign the dotted line. If they can't bring themselves to do that then they're just posing. I can't stop people from playing dress up - and I have better things to do anyway.

I agree with you GoldCoast. I couldn't give a rats ass if they want to play dress-up and play commando just don't go making false claims of service.

There are 2 uses for Airsoft:
1. Scaring off small animals like that woodpecker who shows up at O-dark-30 and can't figure out your antenna isn't made of wood.
2. Passing time in the barracks during exercise lockdown when you know the exercise still won't start for another week or so. (No small unit tactics allowed.)

I bought an M4 airsoft for my 8 year old for X-mas last year to help teach him gun safety and handling. I guess I should let him use it sometime. :D
Kind of funny to see the dogs running like hell every time I bring it out, must be those 3 round bursts in the ass bothers them!
