Introduction
Hello rangers!
I came across this awesome site recently. I was in the RA as an 11B from March 82 - Oct 92. I attended Ranger school and graduated straight thru class 7-87. I started out in the mechanized infantry at Ft. benning with the 197th Inf Bde '82-'83 and then went to Panama '83-'86 and was with C co 4/20th mech before we redesignated to light Infantry where we became C co 1/187th Inf (Rakkasans)of the 193rd Inf Bde. I next went to Ft Campbell and was with C co 5/187th Inf. It was from here as a young Sgt that I went to Ranger school and graduated class 7-87. I then re-deployed to Panama and was stationed at the PLDC NCO academy as an instructor before I managed to get back into the Inf with HHC 5/87th inf. I stayed there till my discharge in '92 back to this miserable civilian life. I was never in a Ranger batt but I represented the ranger tab I earned with utmost respect and honor. I am glad to be a part of this great family of warriors!
