IVAW

Rangers, out of complete curiosity and in know way meant to be rude towards veterans, but what is your opinions on the "Iraq Veterans Against the War" group? Their the same people who interviewed Jesse Macbeth as well as other posers. They spread all this information about how recruiters are there to lie and lie only to suck you into joining and how the war is completely immoral and wrong. Are they lying about their experiences or are they just a bunch of sorry excuses?

If they are Iraq war veterans (the kind that actually deployed) then they are entitled to their opinion regardless of whether or not we agree. If they are veterans who served during the Iraq war (The kind that hung out and went to sick call) then they can STFU.

I completely agree Ranger Silverback and Ranger Scuba Wino. I'm not complaining about their freedom to spread their opinion. The only problem I sort of had with it is they have been going around High Schools in my location and spreading these rumors. I've been ridiculed by some people at my High School including a member of the IVAW for even saying I was going to join the military. They are most likely going to make a trip to my High School for my senior year and I'd rather not be forced to listen to them. It's like the kids are being taught that the Iraq War is a complete immoral disaster. I didn't expect anything better though saying my school is only a few hours away from San Francisco. These people are everywhere.
