Intro from a Frog

Post by Rudee »

Howdy,

I served in the US Navy from 84 to 96. First as a diver onboard the USS Shenandoah. I went through BUD/S and graduated with class 142 in May in 1987. I was at SDV Team Two, SEAL Team Five, and was a BUD/S instructor at the Naval Special Warfare Center. I seperated from the service in January of 1996. I live in southeast Idaho and work as a commodities trader.

I didn't have too much interaction with Ranger types during my time in the teams and I did my part to keep the rivarly going strong when I did.

I got to know a couple of SEALs with prior Ranger service CDR Tim B.(1/75th) and PO2 Josh S.(3/75th) while I was in and I have too say these guys were some of the most squared away, tactically proficient, hard ass mofos we had.

Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to your site and look forward to being a member.

Welcome. Are you a highland frog or a lowland frog?

Commodities trading is a pretty different career path. How'd you end up there?

Welcome here young man. Have known a fair shitload of you guys over the years and while admitting I liked em will never hapen. Had a few of the boys jump ship and come over to our side as well. Good dudes, good soldiers though we had a difficult time supplying hairsray and mirrors, good troops. Glad you came here.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.
