I'm not a DEPer or anything yet, but I have been reading around a lot and pretty much decided what I want to do with my life. I come from a sort of a military family, and can't thank of a better thing to do than serve my country, especially in the post-9/11 world we live in. I like to think of myself as a history buff and am very interested in all aspects of the American military. For whatever reason I've been drawn most to the Rangers. I plan on going to a recruiter and signing with an 11x/Abn/Opt 40 contract as soon as I turn 17.
Admittedly I don't really know anything about how stuff really works... I'm trying to think of how I can put this. I know: I'm a dumbass 16 year-old wannabe, hence the username.
I don't expect to be posting much, more watching and listening than anything. Anyway, so that's me in a nutshell. I look forward to a future in the Army and hope I can make a good impression here... furthermore, I'd appreciate any advice I may receive but until then I'll keep quiet. Glad to be a part of such a great community as this site, and even more so to lie in such a great country as the USA.
