Looking for a brain bucket.

Post by cams »

Something better than my 8 pound K-pot, in black preferably, or not, I can paint it.

Size medium.

I'll buy a new one if I have too, but if any of yous have a used one hanging around, I'll give ya some cash for it.

MICH? Something similar.

Thanks.

Talk to Spartan. He's got a MICH for sale.

I just bought mine off of DiamondBack, but it cost me a pretty penny. Still worth it to not have my peltors getting squeezed to my head and it's the first helmet I don't mind wearing for more than a half hour.

HIJACK!!!!

What kind of peltors are you using? I have a standard MICH, but haven't gotten peltors because i'd rather not move the pads in the helmet around.

Check this one out Jeff....

It's thinking a bit outside the box, but it might work for you. It's got a low-profile and called the POC Skull COMP (the SkullX looks good too)and is 50% thinner and lighter than most brain buckets yet is fabricated from stainless steel mesh and Aramid (body armour stuff)

It's designed as a hightech downhill ski helmet, but why wouldn't it work for you?

$150 bucks at www.pocski.com

Thanks fella's, I saw Spartans thread a while ago, but his bucket is a small or x-small or something like that.

Mac, what's that little pink triangle sticker on the back of your truck?

Uh, ya, RTO, that's alittle more outside the box than I care to go, thanks though. I need ballistic protection, not snowball protection. 8)

Tenn-RGR, received PM, thank you.

The Tactical 6S. They work when it goes boom, but they fall apart almost immediately after a little use. I am buying the next set where you put the batteries in on the side, instead of ripping the ear piece out. The idea is "Where there's no glue, things can't fall apart".

Jeff if you want to convert your current KPOT to 4 point chin strap helmet like the MICH or ACH and have the same pad set up I can send you a conversion kit. I have some spare parts to convert your helmet and I'll even throw in a ACU helmet cover too!
Just let me know.

Yeah some guys actually mail something when they say they're gonna. :P
I was waiting on you to comment on that  . I got you bro really I do. I deliver 9x's out of 10, ask Cams. He wanted lanyards and I got him some. It took a bit because the idiot Riggers didn't know what I was talking about. But I got some made and mailed them out while deployed.

This is correct, it took a little time, but for free and the fact that this Ranger was in country, he gets Best Supply NCO in my book.

By the way, did you ever get to see the prints that I sent you yet in return? Pretty sure I sent them to your home address.
