This one happened about 20 miles from my home.

I was sitting watching TV when it went up, it was so loud I thought some idiot had thrown an artillery simulator into my garden.

We ended up being used to cordon off the area to keep civilians away. It amazed me how many people wanted to go into the danger area (there were still some containers full of fireworks burning after the big explosion).
