Hey Rangers,
What is the difference in RIP, ROP, and Pre Ranger. Are they different, or all the same?

Short answer:

RIP - Ranger Indoctrination Program -lower enlisted route to Batt.

ROP - for e-5 and above version of RIP - upper enlisted route to Batt.

Pre-Ranger - Ranger School Prep Course - get ready for Ranger School.
