Im going to play it safe and put my intro here, simply because I'm not sure if I would technically be considered a veteran, although I am considered prior service. I was in the 13th week of 19D OSUT and was injured in a accident in a Bradley CFV, I broke 3 transverse processes. I recived a Med 200 discharge. I'm good to go now and have finally (after a year) been cleared to go back by the docs at MEPS. I'm going to do now what I should have done then and go 11 series. I'm going to try (fingers and toes all crossed) to get Bragg as my duty station, and by defult get orders to Airborne school then to a PIR. I still have to repeat IET though.

thanks for the on spot correction RNG Saltbitch.

Welcome to the boards - you infiltrated at the right spot. Good luck in your endeavors and appreciate your desire to take another opportunity at serving our nation, despite the setback on your first attempt.

Welcome. In answer to your question. I do not think we consider you a veteran as you were never assigned to your MOS job. You were hurt while still in training.

You did right by making your intro here.

Unless you have already signed a date to go back in you will get a Newt Avatar. If you are DEP, then DEP category. You can not get your own Avatar unless you are a Ranger or Veteran.
