Last RIP class of 2006?

Hello Rangers

Im currently in RIP hold, and I failed the run on the pt test(yes, I know), and after seeing a paper posted up showing if your being dropped or not, my name along with 5 others were highlighted yellow (thank God) the rest being red and orange or pink.

Last night on my CQ shift I kept hearing crap about no other classes starting until January, that got a lot of guys to VW. I know for a fact that it will be at least a month before I start class, but could it be possible that the holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas exodus and all, will keep me in RIP hold untill January? It seems like there are wayyy too many crackheads in the army always hearing voices at night then the next morning they swear on their life that something crazy is going to happen.

I'll wait as long as they make me wait, the later I go, the better chance of success ill have, but I'd really like to know whats going on. I appreciate all your help.

Keep a positive attitude and drive on. You definitely need to work on your running.

Next time only hit submit once, I took care of the other 2 threads you started.

I'm also curious about this. I start Airborne on Monday, which will end not too long before Thanksgiving, then Christman Exodus comes up pretty soon. What will happen to those waiting to go to RIP, are they sent on holiday leave, or sent to hold over?

Probably leave........that's what happened to my class......anyway, avail of your free time and do loads of p.t.

I in-processed yesterday and am in Delta Co, 2nd plt. PT test is on monday.

I'm in class 04-07. Delta Co, 1st plt. Are you coming from F Co 2/54 or E Co 2/58?
