Welcome. Thank you for your interest in the Rangers! Please post a proper introduction in the appropriate intro section. We'd like to know a bit more about who we are talking to and it is Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the site.

I am glad that I will be able to join. I have heard that there is a Ranger unit located in Michigan that is a reserve unit. I thought in order to be in the Rangers you have to go active duty or is there an Army Ranger Reserve unit?
Another question;
Of course I am civilian scum and know nothing about the process of joining the Rangers, what is this "40" deal I have to make sure I sign up for before I enlist.
Since I am a doctor will the Army make me a medic or do I have the option to pursue some other field? I want the SAW baby! Ha Ha. :twisted:
Dude, seriously, instead of typing a bunch of funny questions, try using the search function this site has. ALL these questions have been answered before. Except the Army Ranger Reserve.... :lol: :lol: That's a new one for me.
It's all good.

Garrett,
A man has only one opportunity to make a favorable initial impression. You cannot improve your chances by introducing yourself several times. You have been given good advice. Please take it. The search button is your friend. Resist the urge to hit the submit button. There is a Michigan Army National Guard unit that will meet your goals.

My bad.
I hate that phrase. Either make an apology or take the abuse.
