i hope this hasn't yet been posted, but in the state of california a law is in the process of being passed that does not allow pit bulls to be owned. if you have one and live there the cops will come to your house and take your dog away (i'm not sure if they put them to sleep or relocate them to other states but it would probably be cheaper for them to put them to sleep)...I BELIEVE THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT

I live in Ca. Pit bulls are a problem. No matter how you look at it, it is a problem. Whether you blame the dogs or the owners, those dogs fuck up a lot of people for no reason.

Some can make the argument that Chows attack more. Don't get a Chow.

There is no bigger dog lover in the world than myself, but I am not dumb enough to get a pit. If you have a pit, your bad. If you dont' like the Law move.

Here is my point: Most of the people that own Pits, is because they think it is cool to have a dog with that 'rep'. Pits are purposely bred to fight, just like charpes(sp). If you get anyone of those type of dogs to be the family pet, your a moron. I am speaking from personal experience. If you want a family dog, adopt a mutt. The dumbass owners are to blame for the law, not the dogs.
