Intro (74D3P)

Post by davidchrist »

"Rangers Lead the Way"!!!! I have 12 years in the Army. I served with F Co 51st INF CORPS LRSC for a Year and a half and felt alive, I've always wanted to become something that I will always be proud of accomplishing. I have requested an assignment to 1/75th Ranger RGT. I don't have a ROP date as of 20060606 but I hope to get one soon. I want to become a Ranger so bad that no matter what it takes I will achive the goal I have set for myself.

What is you class #? You mention ROP so I assume you are already tabbed? Also 1/75th is a Bn not a RGT.

I served with F-Co from 2000-2001. We lost three brothers over there, and a fourth that had served with F-Co but was moved up to Battalion. Yes 319th Falls under 525 MI BDE. No I am not Ranger Q'd but I was told by 75th Ranger RGT LNO that I don't have to attend RIP, only ROP because I am Airborne Q'd. I am on orders for 1 BAT/75th Ranger RGT as stated above, but I don't have a ROP date yet.

SGM "rgrpuck",

I would rather attend RIP and ROP if I can. The more training I get before I get to 1st BAT the better. I am a support MOS and I have alot to learn.
