Introduction

Post by Nathan »

Hello, my name is Nathan, as you could tell by my U/N. I am 16 y/o. I plan on enlisting on my 17th birthday, with an 11x Option 40 contract. The reason I will be able to enlist early, is because I will be finishing highschool early. Not because I am getting a GED.

I just wanted to check in. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for the lead-in Ranger Spartan.

Nathan, I usually kill people that call or refer to me as Sir. I find that word extremely derogatory. I actually despise it.

I guess I will go lightly on you today but anytime in the future you speak to either myself or any Ranger on this site - you will call them Ranger before their name. Above each of our Avatars and below our names the word Ranger appears. Please never call me Sir again. Call me Ranger Steadfast and re-read the FAQ's above on talking with Rangers on this board. And don't ever say, "Okay Ranger Steadfast Sir!" That also is taboo here at least to me. http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=1837

If I may borrow a line from Yul Brunner in the King and I. "So it shall be and so it is done Ranger Spartan."

Nathan, your daddy may not have taught you about respect, but if you stay around here for any time, I promise we will teach you. By not answering Ranger Steadfast, you have shown disrespect, and that is not tolerated. I suggest that you unfuck yourself at your earliest possible convenience. For your information, Ranger Steadfast was defending our country when your daddy was still shitting yellow, and has earned the respect that you had better start showing.

Ranger Steadfast, I apologize, I was not paying attention to detail. I did not mean to disrespect you.

Ranger Slowpoke, I noticed in your signature that you were with 173rd ABN LRRP. That is who my dad was with during Vietnam.

I was wondering if this Avatar is acceptable? Apparently the one I had before was in use by someone else.
