Mini 30

Post by Joseph PrettyDeepWater »

Just wanted to know if any of the Rangers had any input on the Mini 30.
Im looking to buy one for boar hunting and target shooting.

Is it a good rifle?

Personally, I think Ruger centerfire semi-rifles suck.....

I've heard of some QC probs with the mini-30 too.

For 7.62x39.....I would get an AK......but that's me.

I didn't factor that in.....let me rephrase then....

Being that you are in Kali (like me) I WOULD buy a mini-14 or a mini-30, just for the fact that it is one of the only semi-autos that you can legally own/shoot.

Ranger wm311, can't we hold guns owned since pre ban? It has to be in ownership before the weapons ban and only fire semi-automatic I think.

I'm going to go look for the info right now.
"Why?"

I have a pre-ban that was first registered in CA. I am sure that gun is legal in that state.

Ace-

You have to have owned the gun and registered it before a certain date.

Kali gun laws are fucked up, there isn't even an exception for LEO's.

Even if you have a "registered assault weapon" there are only certain areas in Kali where you can legally shoot it.

If you move to kali from another state, they don't even allow you to register you AW.....*if* you wanted to.

Good thing I don't like guns, guns are bad!!!

California's gun laws suck, but I love the state to much to leave.
