This will crush you.

Try the set called the "murph".

Combine it with kettle bells and you will be begging to stop.

I was dumb enough to try the "turkish get up" ...I thought my spine was going to shoot out of my ass.

This dude does some pretty sadistic shit. If you want a real "see God" moment, I suggest the Sanbag Death workout. I can't wait for my shoulder to heal completely. Watch out Bragg RFC!

You surprise me Ranger Puck..didn't know you were into that shit or Holmchiken or S.B. either.
I have been trying to get into shape and go to a Crossfit session every Sunday. Been doing that for about 6 weeks now.
I have to go to the gym a number a days a week just to prepare for Sunday.
Somedays the recovery period can last up to 3 or 4 days.
You can see pics of me suffering at www.valleycrossfit.com
I'm the FOG (James) who looks like he's about to collapse.

I am at a point (39-years old) that the "Normal" PT sessions are not giving me the results I need. I was initially skeptical about cross-fit, but I have been talking to a co-worker who has competed in and coached Best Ranger Teams. Not mention he was a part of that unit! So I became curious to see just what level of animalness I am still capable of...

I'll let you guys know if I finish the whole 6-weeks or if I end up licking my wounds and acting like an old guy.

Isn't that just an easier version of the 8 count body builder?

It's an eight count push up with the following differences.

1. You don't push up twice after the leg thrust
2. When you return toward the standing position you "Explode" skyward.

It's not pleasant, either way.

Great info. At 53, I'm gonna add the burpee to my routine.

A word to all you kids out there. If you quit tryin', ya start dyin'. I've been on a workout routine of one kind or another my entire life. I see a lot of folks younger than me who don't work out. They can't do as much as me, they get sick more often than I do, and they can't keep their women happy. Don't ask me how I know about that last one.

:::FOLLOWING STATEMENT MADE UNDER OATH OF RANGER CREED::
Hey kids guess what...I have NEVER had a cold,Flu or any other such "sickness" during my entire adult life (39-years old). The only injuries I have had were either stupid mistakes I have made or stupid mistakes my evil twin scooter has made.

:::DISCLAIMER:::
Hangovers do not count as a "sickness"
