OSUT Graduation
OSUT Graduation
Well I turned blue yesterday and graduated today from C 2/54. I was named the honor graduate for my company and awarded an Army Achievement Medal. I'm on pass until monday for ABN hold. I'm not really sure when I'll leave for ABN school yet. Hopefully before exodus, but me and my fellow RIP contract buddies are going to PT hardcore to get ready for the real deal. I'll post another sitrep after ABN.

Great news soldier. Congrats.
On another note, I remember when I was at sand hil (3/32nd) and a Drill told us that 2/54 was the same unit as the one portrayed in the movie Glory. Does anyone know if that is true? If so, glad to see the unit still going.
Again, congrats and keep on keepin on.

It's all good.
Re: OSUT Graduation
When I was in they referred to it as super troop of the cycle. I didn't get an Army Achievement Medal but I had a great deal of pride when we went on parade and I came front and center in front of the entire BN during graduation. But this is just the beginning, what you proved to yourself if nothing else is that you have what it takes to rise above the rest.mark5105 wrote:Well I turned blue yesterday and graduated today from C 2/54. From one honor grad to another congratulations soldier. Now on to phase two, don't let your head get big, just maintain the standard which you set forth for yourself and that's to rise above all others and show'em what cha got. Sooooooooo how does it feel to be recognized as one of the best?
Answer: you can't put it into words, its a personal thing that will continue on until the day you die. Just do your best and set the example for others to follow!
