I took first aid with MP's and was told to use maxi-pads for a makeshift pressure bandage. Absorbant, doesn't stick to the wound and has a nice sticky back to adhere the tie. Maybe you'll all have to go back to the drug store!!!

I heard mixed reviews on Trauma-Dex from reading various boards (socnet mostly) and AAR's from Iraq.
What's your guys opinions on Trauma-Dex and the other one...quik-clot I believe.
