Hello~
I’m a DEPer shipping to Ft. Benning on 10/26.
I'm am very glad to have found this website and thank each of you personally for contributing to its excellence! Now, I'll 'do my best' not to disrupt that...lol.
Over the last couple of years I’ve been training in mixed martial arts and Kali. Being around great instructors and other students has encouraged me to seek my place in the Army. I’m fit and healthy now and simply refuse to let this opportunity pass.
You may consider me a bit of a forum refugee since I was on another forum until I posted the following PT stats:
P/U 59
S/U 45
2M 12:20
After that I was told not to post again until my S/U were over 100.
Blessings,
Kairos

Re: Hello~
Well you may or may not be a sally...But it doesn't seem very professional of someone to call you sally.Kairos_180 wrote:There my user name is now "Sally".
So in keeping with the professional standards of ArmyRanger.com your user name shall now become Gertrude.

Gertrude,
Nobody here knows you. Apart from being a little proud that another young American Male is doing his part, nobody here has much for you either.
Time is too short for you to get a bunch of advice about PT or attitude or whatever you might need to get your shit together to make it through, so there is really only one concept you need to understand.
Don't quit.
Don't ever even think of it. Thrive on the fucking quitters around you, but don't quit. If it crosses your mind, think about how disgusted you were the last time you saw someone quit, and get your head back in the game. Don't get caught up rethinking your fucking goals, or listening to some other shithead talking about how it doesn't really matter and you can quit together so it isn't so bad. Quitting is a me thing, it's selfish, and it will label you for the rest of your puny, miserable little life as a fucking pussy quitter who couldn't hack it.
DON'T FUCKING QUIT!! No matter what. Not ever.
If you don't understand this, then FUCK OFF!
