SCUZ RAGS

Post by Looon »

SGT Thomas Grey invented scuz rags for the newbies in our plt.
The tabs in 2nd plt would fill a couple of mop buckets with soapy water and throw it on the floor in the hall by our doors. Then they made the newbies race up and down the hall on their hands and feet, pushing towels in front of them to clean the floor. Poor bastards.

I think we had one guy operating the buffer, another riding it. - I suppose we were even easier on them then?

Happy rags....

reminds me of the time I was cleaning TA-50 at the house. I pulled out my brown slug sleeping bag and a sock fell out. Try explaining to your wife why there is a sock with the consistency of a 2x4 in the bottom of your fartsack.

I can remember having to do worm races up and down the hall zipped up in the green monster wearing K-pot and vest. The mafia always thought this was a good form of cheap entertainment on a friday or saturday night.

I think one of the funniest things I remember was my first jump in Batt. They took me and this dude Carpenter's K-pot's and made big fuckin shark fins on them with this red tape. They then put the red tape all around are arms and shit, so people would know to stir clear of the "SKY SHARKS". I thought it was pretty fuckin funny but our 1st Sgt at the time didn't find it to be amusing, so he smoked us for it. Then it wasn't so funny anymore!!!!!!!
