Refugees coming to my A.O.

Post by Flesh Thorn »

I just got the word that maybe 400 refugees from Katrinia may be coming here to my small Blue Ridge Mountain town. Talk about culture shock. The corporate population is maybe 6800 and some of those are prison inmates.
Also, about 75 Virginia State Police are shipping out.

Remember... these people complain about the quality of the assistance that they get so be sure to be in formal attire for their reception.

...or you can look at this as an opportunity to refresh old skills and learn new ones. For instance, when was the last time you created a trip wire tied to a flash bang or some similiar booby trap? Use this as an opportunity to express your creativity in a mildly destructive way.

If all else fails... ask them "How's the fishing".

I just saw on the news where the National Guard Armory in Raleigh is preparing for Katrina victims as well Rgr Flesh Thorn. I'm sure many other towns are on the list to receive these people too..

They have even offered up Michigan, about 500 are moving into NG Fort down the street from me. I'm pretty sure once the snow flies they will head south again.

My Dad works near the Astrodome. Security has been heightened and all employees driving alone are not allowed to leave after dusk. (Which means everyone works from home).

They are in shelters all over the Dallas area too. I am happy to give them a home, but admit to being worried about the economy and crime rate.

The Denver Post reports today that many people who been offered to start over in the Denver area, through Lowry AFB, have refused because it gets too cold here. WTF talk about biting the helping hand that is offered.

We have a thousand coming to Portland, Or. It's dry right now, but in a couple of weeks it's going to start raining.......and it doesn't stop 'till July! I don't think many will want to stay.

I know that I prolly should be more compassionate....there are some good people amongst the shit bags, who just need a little help to get back on their feet....but most of these fourth generation welfare recipiants expect everyone to just give them anything they want. FUCK 'EM! They had their chance too evacuate and were to lazy or too stupid to go.
I never wore a cape, but I still have my dog tags.
