Haven't heard anything about the airsoft, but I understand, bars are much more exciting.

Did I miss something or aren't these airsoft guys?

Since they are on that side of the Atlantic, I would conclude that the only reason they wear American as opposed to British dress uniforms and awards is that someone would track them down and pummel their heads in, since they are located in the UK also. With US Uniforms, at least they have an ocean of safety between us and them.
