An update before I ship out

Thank you Rangers and SFC Hit_it.

I'll be going to the Syracuse, NY MEPS Wednesday night and shipping out to Fort Leonard Wood the following day. All I can say is I'm ready to step up to the plate.

My family threw an amazing going away party for me yesterday. Friends and relatives I hadn't seen in years made it out there to show support for my decision. I know I haven't done a thing besides sign some paperwork so far but it was damn near one of the proudest moments of my life just to hear so much encouragement rather than the negativity you get from a lot of strangers.

I feel incredibly lucky to have found this site over a year ago, there's a vast amount of knowledge to be soaked in and it's given me a lot of direction this past year. Thanks again Rangers, I will post sitreps as things start to get rolling.
