I've never heard it being referred to as "MEP'ing".

But you sound motivated if you lost 40 lbs.

Don't waste that slot! You signed up to be a Ranger....don't quit. Do everything it takes to accomplish that mission. In the end, after the pain, the misery, and the doubt, it will all be worth it. If you succeed, you'll be among the very best. The Brotherhood lasts a lifetime. Good luck!
