Today was a good day

Post by littlesosa »

I went to MEPS today and happily signed my 11x option 40. They even gave me an enlistment bonus totaling 17,000 and 66,744 for college. It feels like Christmas! I did give one present back though, the Special Forces Intent option. Thank you Rangers for letting me be a part of your site! I have learned a great deal here.

Good job securing that Option 40! You don't have much time, so start training, if you haven't already. You've made a serious commitment....don't fail yourself. Thanks for enlisting!

Indeed, you will also ship shortly after Christmas. Good luck.

Damn. Someone paid attention. Dropping that Special Forces intent was a good thing, in my opinion.

Start getting ready now. You'll never be ready but you'll be better prepared. Thanks for taking our advice. Thanks for going for the gold. The Black and Gold.

Make your own luck with hard work and determination. Keep us posted.

congrats.

I'm goignto create a thread in the near future in which DEPS can mpost their experiences at MEPS on the road to the option 40 or whatever contract they desire. something like that here would help future DEPS protect themselves against other BS they might encounter.

SFC HIT-IT,
You are the man. I appreciate all the work you do with these kids....and you don't give them any bull-shit about it.
Thanks.
