My Intro

Post by se7en »

Rangers, Gentlemen, and NCOs of ArmyRanger.com:

This is my formal introduction. My name is Zack and I am 18 years old. I am currently attending one of this fine country’s military institutions in hopes of being commissioned an Officer in the Army. I am originally from a small town in Kentucky and have grown up with dreams of serving.

I hold a vested interest in the 75th and everything Ranger’s stand for. My dream is to one day make it to Battalion. I know the road will be tough, so I figured what better way to ensure success then to learn as much as I can prior to the hardships.

I have been lurking around this site for roughly 3 weeks trying to get a feel for etiquette and protocol. I figured it is only fair that you all have some background information on me since I am using your board. You probably won’t hear much from me (I have learned that the best strategy is to keep my mouth shut and read what you have to say). Thank you for everything you do…

Respectfully,

Zack

Ranger IntelToad,

My father attended Ranger School in 1978. Growing up, I always very proud of my dad for this reason. I didn’t really know what the Ranger’s were, but I did know that it was hard to get that tab. My father put the fear of god in me sometimes…but I was better for it. In that respect, I guess you could say I have a “vestedâ€

Other people were fine and you liked them and were good friends; but you only felt true tenderness and love for those who had been there and had received the castigation that everyone receives who goes there long enough." Well Seven, looks like you have won the hearts and minds of the Rangers and Rangeretts here. So, where are you in school? FINE Military Institutions could mean anything. WestPoint, Citadel, NMMI, where? Tell us about that. Anxious to hear more about that.
