SITREP- Brady

Post by Bradyk10 »

Hello everybody, id like to take a second to thank everybody who has posted any knowledge or advice on this website, I’ve combed the years worth of wisdom in the past few months, searching for any small piece of advice, and I’ve found mountains worth.

I’m now 6 days from shipping to Benning, I don’t feel ready, but I doubt I ever will. Even with those trepidations I’m excited to get to basic and start the pipeline. My pt is below

Hrpu: 60
Plank: 3:40
Pull-ups: 15
2 mile: 12:11
5 mile: 34:24
Ship date- 08/4

Brady.

You should be in the MEPS hotel right now getting ready to embark on the journey/adventure of a lifetime. What you'll get out of it is up to you. You've done more prep work than your average dude showing up to Benning. Keep refining your fitness and mindset as you go through, keep us posted.

Just graduated basic Friday, thanks to my PT score and rifle qualification, I got a promotion to PFC, on the 4 day now getting ready to start AIT on Monday, my last AFT score was a 469, the deadlift and sprint drag killed me.

Maxed the pushups at 58, plank, and run at 12:20 though, hoping to get my numbers up over AIT, they’ve said we’ll have more time to exercise and access to a track. I’ve been training strength more, dropping my Sprint drag time and raising my deadlift.

Brady, great to hear from you.

Your line scores for pushups plank and run are great, but what are you doing to improve the SDC and deadlift? By now, you should be established in AIT. How is that going? Keep us updated and keep your eyes on the prize.
