Re: SITREP- Kenny
Crush it Kenny! Thinking about you hitting jump school brings back a lot of great memories. The runs were terrible but week 3 was great. Have fun and keep us updated!

Re: SITREP- Kenny
Rangers, next week I class up for RASP. Over the past few weeks I have been fortunate to be alongside Rednovember, Pangolin, and Boomer. We’ve conducted our own PT after being released everyday. I’m very excited to finally start RASP. Today we conducted Pre-RASP APFT, my scores are:
Push ups- 70
Sit ups- 76
2 mile run-13.47
Mentees, in Pre-RASP you’ll take the APFT. From what I understand you used to just have to pass it and the 165 guys who have been there the longest class up. This is no longer the case, now they take the top 165 PT scores. There is around 300 Candidates here and some guys have been here far longer than I have and are not classing up. So make sure you’re crushing the PT test upon arrival to Pre-RASP.
I hope everyone had a great St Patrick’s Day! Mentees, this forum has served me very well in preparing me for this journey so take full advantage of this site while you can.

Re: SITREP- Kenny
Rangers, I have successfully graduated RASP 1. Quite the journey it has been so far. The course was definitely the toughest thing I’ve done in my life, but was well worth it in the end. Going through RASP with fellow mentees of the site was a morale booster. I had the honor of being the honor graduate. Before graduation we had two members from the Worldwide Army Rangers Inc come down and talk to us, definitely the highlight of graduation. I’m projected to go to 3/75. I also switched my MOS to 13f. From I was told by career counselors is I’ll report to a Fire Support Team first and then I’ll be sent to AIT when a slot opens up. Post-RASP is a minimum of 2-3 weeks from what I understand so I’ll make sure to spend those weeks getting physically fit and gaining as much knowledge as possible on my new MOS.
Mentees, RASP is challenging but far from impossible. Just work hard and be ready to meet and/or exceed the Ranger Standard. Remember, just as Ranger Jim always said.. Never, never quit!

Rangers, I have spent the last few weeks inprocessing on post, studying, and PTing. I will be reporting to Bco. Not much interesting to say just checking in. I’ll be doing everything I can to be squared away so I can be sent off to Ranger School.

Outstanding, Kenny. You're in the wrong company but Bco has a great history for 3/75. I hope to make it your way in a month or two!

Re: SITREP- Kenny
I think I mis-read your post. The "Outstanding" was in reference to something I created out of it. Either way, always good to see an update from you on the site
