Introduction - Jordon

Post by themanjk »

Hey, my name is Jordon, I'm 20 years old, and I will be heading to RASP in a few months.

I enlisted in the Army in February as a 36B with an option 40. I graduated from basic about a month and a half ago and I will be finishing my AIT at Ft. Jackson next week. After I graduate from AIT I will be heading to Ft. Benning for Airborne and then RASP. Over the past few weeks I've been preparing myself mentally and physically for RASP. I have memorized the Ranger Creed and I frequently read over the Ranger History in the Ranger Handbook on my fireguard shifts. As far as PT, I got a 295 on my last PT test but I have obtained a 300 twice before on past tests. I know for sure that I will not quit. I have the mindset that if I sign up for something, I will finish it.

A little about myself: I graduated high school in 2014 and played college football as a WR for one year before deciding to join the Army. I have always wanted to be the best, and I don't settle for being mediocre. I think that's why I wanted to try to join the 75th, I want to be apart of the best that there is.

I frequently visit this site to browse certain topics about Ranger School but I haven't created an account till now. Once I head over to Ft. Benning, I'll start posting sitreps about how everything is going. I'm looking forward to being a member on the site and learning a lot more about Rangers.

Thanks for your time. RLTW

Jordan, welcome. As you have an Option 40, I have given you greater access on the site. Get started by telling us more about yourself. Why did you decide to become a Ranger financial manager (36B)? I will send you a PM; follow my instructions. Never, never quit!
