Introduction - Michael

Post by MikeRich »

Hello Soldiers,
My Name is Michael and I took the oath of enlistment yesterday. I have signed a 4 yr 25U option 40 contract with the main goal of making a career out of the Army and becoming a professional soldier. Ever since I began to look at the different branches of service joining the Rangers has always been a desire of mine, to push myself to newer limits and to serve with the best. I don't ship out to Ft.Jackson for basic until September 20th and therefore have about 4 more months left to train. I have been training from the book series "Tactical Barbell" for about 9 weeks now and have made good progress on overall strength and endurance. Mentally I have been preparing myself for a while and I believe I am prepared for the hardships to come. But until I actually take them on it is hard to truly know and the best thing I believe I can do from now to RASP is to train, train, and train. I joined the Ranger boards because I want real experience and opinions from real Rangers. Thank you all for your service,

- Michael
