Brief SITREP-- My recruiter was able to secure/reserve an 11x opt 40 contract shipping out JAN 05 2015. I leave for the hotel Sunday afternoon and will go to MEPS on Monday. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and I will be able to sign that contract.

I will keep everyone updated.

Good news, just got done at MEPS where I signed my 11X option 40 contract with a ship date of 20150105 and also swore in. Im going to use the time to continue to prepare mentally and physically, thank you all for the suppory and if any of you have any comments or questions feel free to post/message them.

Seriously, your background and experience give you a favorable advantage. Sometimes it takes living life a little to see what you really want, and that desire is what will keep you pressing on over those who quit. I look forward to hearing of your progress. Just don't quit.

Ranger PocketKings, Roger that haha. I hope that my "old man" maturity will help me in my journey, but I still have much to learn and with that age will come great responsibility to lead my peers-- something I cannot and will not take lightly.


Ranger Slowpoke, Roger haha! Maybe I will test that out one night out when I'm not busy preparing. I'm a bit hesitant to advertise my enlistment for personal gain as I haven't accomplished anything yet. Lastly, never quit, DONE!


I genuinely appreciate all the words of advice and support! I'm still learning the ropes of being a "DEP'er" on the forums so I promise to do my best to post the appropriate information when requested/required. I hope one day I will be able to call you all my brothers.
